Joseph Angelo, a Principal of the firm, has been practicing law for over 40 years in Orange County, California. He focuses his legal practice on civil litigation cases, business transactions as well as family law. Prior to forming Angelo & White in 1999, Mr. Angelo was a name partner at Angelo & Thatcher from 1977 to 1992 and from 1992 until 1999, Mr. Angelo had his own law firm. Mr. Angelo has extensive experience in negotiating and settling family law and business matters. He has also litigated and brought to trial a substantial amount of cases.
Mr. Angelo received his Juris Doctorate from California Western School in San Diego in 1974. He received his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University with and emphasis in Business Administration and Marketing.

Alyssa Milman White is the managing partner of Angelo & White and has been practicing law for over 22 years. She manages the daily operations of the law firm in addition to engaging in a general civil litigation practice with an emphasis on tort litigation, business litigation and corporate transactions. Ms. White counsels her business clients from the inception of their businesses and is used to handling all of their legal needs through litigation, if necessary. Ms. White also has extensive experience in personal injury litigation.
Ms. White received her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law, San Diego, California in May, 1992 where she graduated Cum Laude and served as the Associate Notes and Comments Editor on the Law Review/International Law Journal. She also received American Jurisprudence Awards in the areas of Legal Writing, Constitutional Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration. Ms. White received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts in May, 1989 where she graduated Cum Laude.

Sara L. Escalante spent two summers as a law clerk at Angelo & White prior to passing the California Bar Exam in November of 2018. As a law student at the University of San Francisco she held positions on the school’s Moot Court competition team and Law Review Board of Editors. During the Spring of her 3L year, she interned for an NGO, Human Rights Advocates, and traveled to the U.N. in Geneva, Switzerland, where she had the opportunity to speak at the Human Rights Counsel on the subject of illegal international adoptions. In January of 2019, Ms. Escalante joined Angelo & White as an associate attorney to assist on the firms’ civil litigation matters.
Ms. Escalante received her Juris Doctorate from the University San Francisco School of Law in 2018. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2010 where she received her Bachelor’s degree in political science.
